I attend both industry shows, which are not open to the public and are “B2B” shows, and shows people are more familiar with, such as the Arnold Classic, etc. Here’s a short vid discussing what one of these supplement industry shows is like, with “insider” vid from the show.
Training Through Adversity. Going from the fun/silly vids to discussing a tough topic: training through adversity, using examples of my own experiences not made public before. I hope it helps and inspires others to SURVIVE and get through their own tough times… I’m sure of you have seen worse/been through worse, some not, but here’s my advice on the issue:
Been getting a fair number of questions from women who have no donk, no butt, lack O booty syndrome! If you have a nice round butt you are happy with, this aint the vid for you. If you have a flat backside, and it’s not a naturally good bodypart for you, this vid is directed at you…
My Aloe plants! I grew them from one small plant my mother gave me probably 20 years ago. They are named Hans and Franz from the old SnL skit ’cause they are so freakin’ huge. This is the ‘small’ one Hans:
Even us health/fitness minded types enjoy a good drink now and then, and it’s hard to find one that is not either full of carbs/sugar, or tastes like crap. So, I have been experimenting with a drink that tastes good and keeps the sugars/carbs to a minimum on those occasions I want a drink. Been tweaking it for a while, but I think the recipe if finally done. The ingredients are specific, so no mixing and matching then complain it tastes bad. Recipe goes like so:
Ever wondered what the truth is behind the common marketing terms such as “patented” or “research proven?” One of the free reports given away when people sign up to the BrinkZone covers those topics in depth, but here’s a video that takes a close look at these common terms designed to separate you from your money. Enjoy!
After a long break not seeing each other, the conversation between our well informed intrepid hero and the clueless kid who falls for every new over hyped products that comes along….Same as before: before you watch this understand , this comes with an “adult” rating , don’t watch it then moan to me that I swore in it.
If you have a Youtube account do me a solid and rate it for me, if you have a twitter account or facebook account then retweet this or Facebook it , thanks.
Bodybuilding Supplement Animated Video – Enjoy
In what may be one of the most ironic and distasteful ad campaigns I think I have ever seen, is the new Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) campaign “Buckets for the cure” where they donate fifty cents per bucket (a pink bucket no less…) toward breast cancer research via the Susan B. Komen For The Cure Foundation. It reads like a Saturday Night Live skit (and I really thought it was a joke when I first saw it!) but it’s for real.
Run it? Hell no. However, the marathon goes right by my house down Route 135. It’s about mid way in the race where I am. I got off to a late start, so the elite runners had gone by a long time ago when I showed up. Mid way through the course runners are all spread out by that point. I have to say, as much as I respect anyone who want to run 26 miles, seeing them doing it does not inspire me in the least to want to run. Good conditioning is fine, and important, but I’d much rather be able to claim 3 x bodyweight squat and dead lift, or 2 x bodyweight bench press. Regardless, the Boston Marathon is huge stuff around here. Took my cam and got some pics for the fun of it.
