Well said. For many years, I've ascribed to the "Vitamin Diet" author's ascertion (based on lab tess he quoted) that a male could not assimilate more than 55 to 60 grams in a 24 hour period. However, in the last few years, I've come to the same conclusion you reached. Why worry about it? Better to consme more protein than necessary than consume extra carbs or fat that are more likely to be stored as body fat rather than burned or removed from the body as waste. I recall the author claiming that the extra protein was simly removed from the body, making the kidneys work more than they needed to work, but even if there is extra the body simply removes, it's better than storing extra fat from eating bad calories instead.
In the last year, I upped my protein intake a lot and found more muscle growth, so now I think even the 55 to 60 number is not accurate. Your assertion that the magic nmber likely varies per individual with age, activity, etc. as actors is extremly logical and most likely true.
    Thanks for the video.
    Thanks for the opinion.

The assertion that 55-60 grams is enough for active people, is simple incorrect, and shown so via the article linked above the vid. And as I said, you still have to eat something, so it's a moot issue….
